Christmas Help

The holidays will be here before you know it and there are times that families find it difficult to provide gifts for their children.  We are happy to offer an Adopt-a-Family program for the holidays.  This program is designed to support our families who may be unable to purchase gifts for the holidays.

If you could use help purchasing gifts for your family please fill out the wish list for each member of your family. This information is kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone.  I will contact you when the gifts are ready to be picked up.

If you need help for Christmas, click Christmas Adopt-a-Family

Meet Mrs. Hansen

Each class will have 8 counseling lessons this year plus some lessons and presentations from outside organizations.  Our first lesson is always about what a counselor does and who the school counselor is at Daniel Boone.  Some classes had their first counseling lesson this week!  Here is a little about me!

Imagine you have each end of a rubber band in your hands.
Pull your hands apart and the elastic stretches.
Let go of one end and the rubber band bounces back to its original size. That is resilience
Resilience means that whatever bad times you go through you can bounce back again and be yourself.
It is never giving up even when things get tough and trying even if you’re not sure you’ll succeed.
